TCI Journal responds to, who is the "we" when speaking about Turks and Caicos?

Today, October 10, 2009, I responded to an email from a TCI Journal spokesperson, called "Preston Jerk".  Preston Jerk accused me of being part of the PNP and/or working for Mischael Misick.  I frankly was not surprised that TCI Journal name calls anyone who is in disagreement with it, or accuses any dissenter of being a political pawn. I feel like it's a rape trial in the 1950s and the defence attorney is blaming the victim for wearing a short skirt.  

Many of you would be interested to find out that TCI Journal has made many attempts to intimdate me in the last three days.  They have threatened to call the police and made many accusations against me and threatened Special Prosector Helen Garlick on me, as if they own her. They have locked me out of a public forum for which, as it turns out, is run by Shaun Malcolm.  There goes their free speech theory.  There goes their stopping intimidation theory. Here's an interesting thought, if it were reverse and the police were called on TCI Journal every time someone disagreed with it, would its author(s) be in jail for life?  I guess if that's the standard for the police, they would fail the arrest test.  Or, as it may be, they have tried to intimidate the police too.  Who knows.

I also asked why TCI Journal feels that its opinions are smarter than the rest of the world who condemn a UK take-over of the Islands.  The TCI Journal "representative" told me that CARICOM representatives are buddies of Michael Misick.  Well then what about the United Nations and the European Union?  Is everyone in bed with Michael Misick then Mr. Malcolm?  I think the United Nations and its Decolonisation Committee would be a bit stunned to learn that.  I suppose, in your mind, everyone is in on the conspiracy.  TCI Journal is right and the world is wrong or a buddy of Michael Misick.  For the record, I have never met and I do not know Michael Misick. Michael Misick is history Mr. Malcolm.  However, Michael Misick seems to be front and center in your imagination.  

So, I asked "Preston Jerk" the question presented by PW.  Why do you say WE in your articles?  Do you represent all of the people of Turks and Caicos? 

Here you have it.  TCI Journal admits entitlement to say WE when they speak for Turks and Caicos.  TCI Journal believes that they are heros for sounding the UK alarm and for its divisive articles about Turks and Caicos politics. Is TCI Journal a hero?  Does TCI Journal have the right to say "we"?  TCI Journal says yes!  They have the right.  Please contact us and let us know if TCI Journal represents you in Turks and Caicos? Contact Us

"The journal, its writers and editors have a right to say "WE" because they helped most of WE  the people of the TCI to get rid of the PNP.  Most of We in this country all agree with that.  Anybody who  helped get rid of the PNP Government have a right to speak with the language of WE.  the journal cannot stop until it helps rid these islands of most forms of corruption.  Because of Corruption work permits get sold and most of WE the people cannot get jobs.  because of Corrpution and the payment of bribes to Ministers most of WE the people could not get lands to build on.  Because of corruption the PNP ran the TCI into the ground and made it necessary for WE the people to ask the  British Government into the islands and to take the islands over so WE the people could have a better future. Burke the Journal have a right to say WE because they are doing what most of WE want.  That is to end PNP Corruption."

So whether you like it or not.  Most of the people of the TCI agree with the view of the people of the TCI because the journal is till fighting PNP Corruption and  most of WE in the TCI except those PNPS dedicated to that form of corruption, want the journal to continue its efforts.  So burke wants to scapegoat people at the journal who are fighting PNP Corruption.
