TCI Journal put on notice to stop using the word "we" when speaking for Turks and Caicos. An overhwhelming number of TCIslanders put TCI Journal on notice that their names as "we" should not be used. TCI Journal on notice to qualify who they/it speaks for.
One of TCI’s most prolific singer-songwriters has produced a controversial rake and scrape song that strongly rebukes the recent government reforms. Jack Nasty, writer of 15 original solo tracks, said the changes are “preposterous” and added he would never support what he describes as a “one man ruling nation.”

United Nations, Turks and Caicos Islands was the United Kingdom’s idea of a “non-colonial modern relationship”. Under the United Nations Charter, the United Kingdom continued as an administering Power and it was only that that had given international legitimacy to the action that was taken, whatever the justification.
October 31st is the date set for the PDM annual convention at their party headquarters in Providenciales and already there is talk of expected fireworks as current party leader Floyd Seymour will again be challenged by some familiar faces and, there is the possibility of the resignation of one former elected member.
